Well done Jess for not giving up and being so resilient. Loved reading your story as usual and with your perseverance I’m sure you will better on your next ultra. Speaking of which what will be and when is your next one?

Thanks Michiel - I really appreciate the kind words and the encouragement. I'll be taking on London-Wales-London early next month so I'm really hoping my legs can sort themselves out by then!

I’m tearing up a little after reading this🥹 Your words are spot on and I feel very represented in them! I had the same intrusive thoughts throughout the event, especially as people kept passing me by, and it was hard to not get overwhelmed by that, but I kept telling myself that this was my race, with me and only me, and that I got to define our own measure of success (which was about eating enough to avoid bonking😅 and being kind to myself) Thanks for sharing!

I really relate to the feeling of 'not enough', feeling like you're giving your best, but what if it just isn’t enough?

Thanks for the read!
